Kip Davis, Chairman & CEO

As the company's chief executive, Kip is responsible for setting strategy and vision, building
culture, managing the team and determining capital allocation. He leads the management team
in choosing the ultimate direction of the company, including which markets KDM will enter and
which service lines we will offer.
Kip believes that profits should not necessarily be the goal of the company, but should come as
the natural reward for honoring the company's vision and managing the integration of entities and
the core business processes successfully.
He is a voting member of the Independent Spirit Awards, and a member of Film Independent, The
Society for Cinema and Media Studies, The American Film Institute, the Writers Guild of America,
the Directors Guild of America and the Los Angeles Independent Feature Project. He has served
as PR Chair for The San Diego Film Festival, and has written an article for Vanity Fair and a
scholarly journal article about the social phenomena surrounding the origins of film noir.
